The blessing of gathering

Dear friend,

The blessing of meeting again or for the very first time

What a joy it will be to have Christians who are involved in legal practice gather together in one place to become change agents for what God is about to do again in Europe.

The first European network conference, “50 Nations – One Fellowship” took place in Berlin in 2018 followed by the second, “Our Time is Now” in Cambridge in 2022. This September, the third will take place in Austria and for the first time, we will have a conference where the ticket price includes accommodation on site and full board, at the extraordinary venue of Campus Horn which provides a unique opportunity to encourage one another and build new connections, because all delegates will be staying together!

“I’ve been deeply blessed by attending previous Christian lawyer conferences, where I could connect with fellow believers in the legal profession from around the world. These gatherings were not only intellectually enriching but also spiritually uplifting, reminding me that faith and law can powerfully intersect. Being in fellowship with like-minded professionals strengthened both my calling and my perspective on practicing law with purpose.”
Veronika Horváth
(attended Berlin 2018 as a postgraduate student and Cambridge 2022 as a young lawyer)

The blessing of praying together

Prayer is where lawyers do their best work! Whether it is weekly, monthly or on a flexible basis, many Christian lawyers meet across Europe to pray for one another, their various legal jurisdictions and their country. This has also led to many more groups starting prayer meetings in recent months.

“We are a small group of Albanian lawyers who meet once a month in person. We support one another in prayers regularly – praying for family members, the Church, political leaders, friends and colleagues who are not yet saved. In a country with widespread corruption, we prioritise prayer because we need God’s help and intervention for a change to happen.”
Ermela is an intercessor inspired by Jesus’ prayer for the church in John 17.
One of her favourite Bible verses is Romans 8:26.

Join us to build connections and strengthen friendships across the continent, as we come together to find others to pray with, to connect with, to encourage, and to be encouraged!

Many blessings,

The Planning Team (The Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship UK, Christ und Jurist Germany and Christ und Jurist Austria)
